Today my delivery from BWBeads arrived. I ordered a selection of their new budget faceted glass beads as well as their fourth and final colour in the czech fire-polished faceted rondelles. The aqua blue rondelles were every bit as sparklingly beautiful as I knew they'd be, and the budget rounds were surprisingly pretty too. I left them sitting out, glittering in the vague spring sunshine, such a pleasure to the senses.
A sterling silver bail and a cheap second set of side cutters completed my order. But a second "gift" in the form of my BBC Dig In pack also arrived, filled with packets of vegetable seeds and a sheet of stickers claimed as a treat by my youngest niece.
Asides from finally filing away my new arrivals, all I made today was a single pentacle in the new peridot faceted rounds and SP wire. It's quite charming and I'm sure its new owner will be happy with her Spring Star. I don't feel at all as lazy as I probably should, as last night I was awake till 3am wire-wrapping a piece in fine copper and those delicious teal czech rondelles that so delight me, along with three beaded pentacles, including a tiny precious malachite one.
My Challenge Ankh is no farther along than it was a week ago though - my sole spot of guilt. I'll return to it tomorrow.
